La conquista de la desigualdad: la post-crisis que se avecina

Resumen

España ocupa el segundo puesto en Europa en cuanto a incremento de la desigualdad en estos últimos seis años. La crisis ha tenido como efecto incremetar la distancia entre ricos y pobres, y esa brecha parece que no va a reducirse en el corto ni en el medio plazo. Cuando los datos macroeconómicos comiencen a mejorar consistentemente (y cabe que ello no se dé tan pronto como muchos anuncian), la realidad social que los sustentará será la de una ciudadanía expropiada de sus derechos, precarizada laboralmente y sin capacidad de movilización ni de protesta. Sin una profunda renovación política, varias generaciones serán sacrificadas. One of the most important effects of the crisis has been the ampliation of distance between poor and rich people, and this gap is not going to be reduced in the short nor in the medium term. Once macroeconomic data begin to improve consistently (and, perhaps, it will not be as soon as many ones are predicting), the social reality undercoming them will be that of a citizenship exproprieted of their rights, instalated in the labour precarization and withour the capability of movilization and protest. Without a deep political renovation, some generations will be sacrified.
