Abstract

Si el asesinato masivo de los discapacitados no se ha considerado el anteceden-te inmediato del holocausto se debe a que, salvo raras excepciones no se ha te-nido presente el carácter hegemónico de la eugenesia durante los años inmedia-tamente anteriores al régimen nazi. La academia la ha considerado siempre una pseudociencia o “una mala idea” y por ello ha subestimado sus efectos. Tratare-mos aquí de superar el olvido de la eugenesia en la investigación y la enseñanza en las universidades.
